TAKE Supply Chain Recognized as SupplyChainBrain 2010 Great Supply Chain Partner for Fourth Consecutive Year

Austin, Texas – August 31, 2010 – TAKE Supply Chain, innovator of software solutions to power demand-driven value networks, has been named as a 2010 Great Supply Chain Partner for the fourth consecutive year by leading supply chain management publication, SupplyChainBrain. TAKE was selected based on the company’s success in improving operational control, inventory accuracy, visibility and order fulfillment for Welch's, a leading manufacturer and marketer of grape-based products. TAKE has automated processes for Welch’s across multiple production and warehousing locations nationwide. The company’s technology currently controls inventory data collection and management across Welch’s entire product line of juices, spreads and fruit products.

“Receiving consistent recognition for our work with customers and partners around the world is a distinct honor that we are proud to accept for the fourth year in a row,” said Mr. Kishore Rachapudi, President and COO, TAKE Supply Chain. “We’re honored that TAKE clients and partners continually recognize our achievements when it comes to contributing toward competitive advantages that improve their bottom lines. We all know businesses today face unprecedented volatility across their global operations, and we will continue to serve the marketplace by delivering innovative solutions that address these most complex supply chain challenges.”

SupplyChainBrain’s 8th Annual 100 Great Supply Chain Partners Program is the result of a six-month online poll in which supply chain professionals are asked to nominate vendors and service providers whose solutions have made a significant impact on their company’s efficiency, customer service and overall supply chain performance.

“In 2010, we received more than 2,800 nominations from small and large companies covering scores of different industries,” states Brad Berger, publisher of SupplyChainBrain. “More than 600 vendors of every conceivable type of supply chain activity were nominated – from very specialized technologies, to a wide range of third-party logistics, transportation and consulting services. The 100 companies that received the most qualified nominations are represented on this year’s list which is published within the July issue of SupplyChainBrain’s magazine and on SupplyChainBrain.com for the remainder of 2010."

Last year, SupplyChainBrain changed its name from Global Logistics & Supply Chain Strategies to unify the publisher’s identity with that of their website, which many consider one of the most valuable supply chain management information sources on the Web today.
