We are looking for a Senior Consultant in our Austin, Texas office.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Engage with TAKE Solutions Oracle-based clients to ensure successful implementation of TAKE Solutions and Oracle Applications. Determine Client requirements and design, develop, and implement the appropriate solutions. This position reports to Project Manager.
- Responsible for Solution implementation: requirements definition, solution design, user training, performance optimization, system test, and go-live support
- Development of enhancements to TAKE Solutions Applications and Oracle solutions
- Status reporting to Client and TAKE
- Identification of additional business opportunities
- Lead Client toward industry best practices and efficient usage of TAKE Supply Chain Applications and Oracle Applications
- Scope management
Required skills and qualifications:
- BS or BA (preferably in Computer Science, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering or Business)
- Five (5) years of experience
- Position is 50% technical, 50% functional
- PL/SQL coding experience
- Solid understanding of Oracle Application interfaces
- J2EE experience a plus
- Significant experience in Oracle Applications Inventory, Order Management and Manufacturing modules, especially version 11i. R12 is a plus
- Experience with Oracle WMS and/or Oracle MSCA is a major plus
- Proven ability to deliver add-on sales during an engagement
- Practical experience in a manufacturing and/or warehouse environment a plus
- Must have good interpersonal/relationship management skills
- Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication ability
- Experience with relational databases
- Position requires 25% travel and working at the client location

We are looking for a Technical Writer in our Austin, Texas office. The right candidate will work as a documentation specialist within the Product Management team. The candidate will also learn and use basic UNIX and SQL commands, Oracle E-Business Suite (Inventory, Purchasing, Order Management) and Mercury defect (bug) tracking software.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to -
- Updating existing documentation with new product features
- Deploying new and existing content as web-based help
- Reviewing specifications and use of software to learn about features
- Describing features and products for end users, typically software implementation teams and database analysts.
- Editing and/or writing User, Installation, Administration and Technical Reference guides
- Creating and editing graphics and text for functional specifications and marketing communications
- Working closely with development and QA throughout product development to ensure documentation is tested, complete and accurate prior to release
- Developing and presenting internal training during product launch process, providing sales, services and support teams information for customer-facing activities
- Creating and maintaining style and writing guidelines for global enterprise
- Reviewing work generated by other teams for compliance to guidelines and providing edits as requested
Required skills and qualifications –
- Bachelor's degree, or Associate's degree and relevant professional work experience
- Microsoft Windows and Office skills are a must, including creating and managing templates (.dot, .dotx, .pot, .potx) and field codes
- Experience using Adobe Framemaker, Adobe Captivate, Adobe Robohelp, Jasc and PaintShopPro
- Experience using SharePoint to provide users across the enterprise access to content
- Experience creating Framemaker and/or Robohelp templates and style sheets; migrating existing content to Robohelp
- Good working knowledge of computers, databases, and business software; willing to learn new concepts
- Superior written, verbal, interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Desire to improve and proactively fill gaps in existing documentation suite
